SEASON 1 ​

Eight years ago, a viral plague swept through humanity, decimating all the world’s men. Women have inherited the earth, but unless they can find a way to rid their own bodies of the virus to produce boy babies, the human race will be extinct within two lifetimes.

 

In these interesting times, we begin our story in rural, idyllic Hiro Valley in New Zealand. Life here is as peaceful as it can be eight years after a mass-extinction, until one night, when dairy farmers Alex, Jamie and Pip accidentally crash into a wild woman running across the road. The unconscious woman is discovered to have a magnificent beard and a disturbing growth between her legs.

 

On closer inspection, the woman is a Man.

SEASON 2

Season Two sees dairy farmers Alex, Jamie, Pip and male survivor Bobby fleeing rural Hiro Valley, and going on an epic road trip to bring Wellness cult leader Lane to justice and uncover the truth about the mandemic. But to save humankind, they’ve first got to save their friendship.
